What is Project:M1?
Racing at the elite level means much more than just training hard: it is about training smart, having a plan and covering every aspect of the sport. It is about being committed and patient throughout the process and staying focused on the end goal. It is about training myself to be not just physically tough, but mentally tough. It is about putting in 100% every day.
I have made some big changes in my life in order to pursue my goals: I reduced my work career load to focus more on training and racing; I worked with an Internationally known Olympic level coach; and I continue to tweak my lifestyle, diet, and daily life routines in pursuit of excellence in the sport of triathlon. I am putting everything I have in to reaching my goals. Project:M1 is to compete professionally as a triathlete at the World Stage. I want Project:M1 to inspire others to pursue their dreams and to reach their goals too.
I am a strong believer that anything is possible if you put your mind to it: there are no limits! This means making a commitment, persevering through difficult times and believing in your dreams. I believe anything is possible because when I started this journey as an average, amateur athlete, becoming a world-class competitor truly did feel like a dream. But, somewhere deep down I believed in myself, and the dream is now becoming a reality. I am a now a professional triathlete aiming to be one of the world’s best — and I believe it is possible.
